This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report No.1249 of 2023 registered with Police Station Yavatmal City district Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Section 498-A r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicants are relatives of husband who claims to be false implication on account of vague and general allegations. It is submitted that the applicants are residing separately from the couple and thus the prosecution is untenable amounting to abuse of the process of the Court.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after six weeks.
