This is an application seeking to quash First Information Report bearing Crime No.466/2023 registered with the Police Station Paoni, District Bhandara for the offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(n), 313 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is the applicant's contention that the informant is a major and the relations were consensual. According to the applicant, bare reading of the police report indicates the long standing love relationship and thus, the consent was not obtained under false pretext of marriage.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after six weeks.

Learned A.P.P. waives service of notice for nonapplicant/State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
