This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report bearing Crime No.122 of 2024 registered with the Kanhan Police Station, Nagpur Rural for the offence punishable under Sections 25 read with Section 4 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

Learned Counsel for the applicants would submit that the allegations are based on the social media posts, which are not verified. Moreover, it is submitted that the applicant is suffering from 4th stage cancer. 4.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 26.03.2024. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
