This is an application seeking to quash FIR in Crime No.14/2024 registered with Police Station Gittikhadan, Nagpur, for the offence punishable under Sections 365 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on account of settlement. 3.
The informant got married with daughter of applicant No.1 on 16.10.2023 against the wishes of parents. After marriage, informant and daughter of applicant started to reside separately. The informant (husband) alleges that on 09.01.2024, the Prity
2 / 2 01.apl322.2024 applicants' who are his father-in-law and relatives of his wife have forcibly abducted his wife and therefore, the report.

Respondent Nos.2 and 3 i.e. husband and Monika, who was allegedly abducted have appeared suo motu through Advocate Mr. Kalele and filed reply stating that the matter has been amicably settled and they do not wish to prosecute the case. Both have been identified by their Advocate. On our personal enquiry, they stated that there was a mutual arrangement in which applicant No.1 and other relatives have agreed that they would not interfere in their matrimonial life. Moreover, both of them stated that since the accused are close relatives i.e. father of victim and other relatives, they do not wish to prosecute the criminal case.

Learned APP would submit that since the investigation has already commenced, he would seek necessary instructions and file reply.
