This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.815 of 2023 registered with the Umarkhed Police Station, District Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 504, 506, 109 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

It is informed that the charge-sheet has not been filed. The applicants are the relatives of the husband of the informant lady. It is submitted that despite the couple was residing separately at Kolkata, the relatives of the husband have been implicated in matrimonial dispute. 4.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 02.05.2024. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
