This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.71 of 2020 registered with the Risod Police Station, District Washim for the offence punishable under Sections 294, 420, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

It is primely canvassed that at the behest of political leader, through different complainants several police reports have been filed against the applicant and his group members.

Learned Counsel for the applicant has tendered a copy of some of the orders, wherein under similar circumstances, this Court has stayed the then respective proceedings. It is submitted that though the FIR has been lodged in the year 2020 till date charge-sheet has not been filed.

Issue notice to the non-applicants for final disposal, returnable on 02.05.2024. Learned Addl.P.P.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
