This is an application seeking to quash First Information Report vide Crime No.146/2024 registered with Police Station Umarkhed, Dist. Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant is husband who claims that after filing of divorce petition in order to pressurize, false report has been filed after a gap of five years. Prity

It is brought to our notice that in connected petition, this Court has passed interim order in Criminal Application (APL) No.525/2024 on 08.03.2024.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 14.06.2024.

In the meantime, investigation shall go on, but the charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
