This is an application seeking to quash F.I.R. in Crime No.0128/2024 registered by non-applicant No.1 for the offence punishable under Section 224 of Indian Penal Code.

The applicant was a convict against whom crime has been registered alleging that he has not surrendered on due date. The applicant's learned Counsel has produced an order of this Court dated 3.4.2024 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No.297/2024 by which the period of parole was extended by 15 days. It is applicant's contention that he has surrendered within extended period of 15 days and hence no offence is made out.

Issue notice for final disposal to the non-applicants returnable on 13.6.2024.
