This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report vide Crime No.1367 of 2023 registered with Police Station Awadhutwadi district Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

During the pendency, the matter is settled between the parties. The mutual consent divorce was filed and it was decided the marriage is dissolved with the consent of the parties. Parties are present before this Court today.

The non-applicant No.2 has stated that she has no objection to quash the above mentioned First Kavita

915-apl-1037-24.odt 2/2 Information Report as the matter is settled between the parties. She has also stated that she has received Rs.70,00,000/- earlier and today she has received Rs.30,00,000/- through Demand Draft.

As the matter is settled between the parties, the First Information Report vide Crime No.1367 of 2023 registered with Police Station Awadhutwadi district Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act is hereby quashed and set aside. 6.

Criminal Application stands disposed of.
