This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report No.204 of 2024 dated 13.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 188,273,328 of the Indian Penal Code along with Sections 26(2)(iv),30(2)(a),3,4 and 59(i) of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 registered with Police Station Mul, district Chandrapur.
3.
It is argued that merely on the basis of statement of the co-accused, the applicant has been arraigned in the crime. Moreover, it is contended that the First Information Report is lodged by the police, which should be by Food Safety Officer and thus, there is no material to proceed.
