Learned counsel for the applicant states that the prosecution has filed the charge-sheet before the Judicial Magistrate at Mul, Dist. Chandrapur on 13th February 2026. However, when the applicant demanded a copy of the chargesheet, the same was not supplied on the pretext that he would be entitled to receive it only after the matter is committed to the Sessions Court.

In such cases. under Section 207 of Cr.P.C., the Magistrate required to furnish a copy of the charge-sheet to the accused. Non-furnishing of the charge-sheet is not in accordance with law. Hence, learned Magistrate is directed to supply the copy of charge-sheet to the applicant. 3.

List the matter on 16th March 2026.
