This Court by order dated 23.12.2025 referred this matter for Mediation. The Mediator has successfully mediated the matter and accordingly, the agreement was also executed between the parties before the Mediator dated 23.01.2026. Accordingly, the mediator has submitted his report dated 23.01.2026. The same is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification.

In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in case of B.S. Joshi and ors. Vs. State of Haryana and Ors., reported in AIR 2003 SC 1386, there is no impediment to accept the settlement of the parties arising out of matrimonial dispute and consequently quash the criminal proceedings registered against the accused

In view of that the present application is allowed in terms of agreement executed between the parties on 23.01.2026.

The proceeding bearing RCC No.124/2025 arising out of Crime No.348/2024 for the offences punishable under Section 498A and 504 of the Indian Penal Code is hereby quashed and set aside.

The fees of the appointed Counsel be quantified as per rules.

6.

The application stands disposed of. No order as to the costs.
