This is an application seeking to quash F.I.R. in Crime No.0386/2024 registered by non-applicant No.1 for the offence punishable under Section 3(1)(za)(A) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

It is the informant's case that he belongs to member of Scheduled Castes. The applicants have allegedly obstructed them from using a common road and, therefore, the offence.

It is applicants' contention that they did not obstruct the road but their vehicle was intermittently parked on the road for which the crime has been registered. 5.

Issue notice to the non-applicants returnable on 25.9.2024.

Ms. K.H. Bhondge, learned A.P.P. waives notice for non-applicant No.1.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but chargesheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
