This is an application seeking to quash the charge-sheet arising out of First Information Report No.104 of 2023 registered with the Mohadi Police Station, District Bhandara for the offence punishable under Sections 188, 272, 273, 328 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 26(2)(i), 26(2)(iv), 27(3)(e), 3(1)(zz)(iv) of the Food Safety and Standard Act, 2006 and Rules 2011.

It is submitted that the alleged offence would not attract as only Panmasala was seized, which is not prohibited. So also, it is argued that the provisions invoked would not apply.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after six weeks. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.
