This is an application seeking to quash the F. I. R. in Crime No.401/2024 registered with Police Station Chikhli, Dist. Buldhana for the offence punishable under Sections 354, 354-B read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, under Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and under Sections 3(1)(w)(i),3(1)(w) (ii)and 3(2)(va) of the Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 on account of settlement.

The informant is the mother of the minor victim. It is her case that on the date of incident the applicants forcibly took the victim in the farm and had made sexual assault.

There are cross cases against each other. Hence the parties have settled all the differences.

Today the informant and her husband both parents of the minor victim have appeared through Advocate and filed reply stating their no objection to quash the F.I.R. Both are present before the Court. 6.

On our query, the complainant stated about settlement and requested for quashing F.I.R for maintaining cordial relations. 7.
