This is an application seeking to quash chargesheet arising out of Crime No.0041/2024 registered by non-applicant No.1 for the offence punishable under Section 306 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. 3.

The informant's wife committed suicide by hanging on 22.1.2024. The informant alleges that in past the applicant had outraged modesty of applicant's wife for which crime has been registered in the year 2017. He alleges that applicant along with his two associates used to consistently threatened her for dire consequences and thus abetted her to commit suicide.

Applicant's learned Advocate would submit that there was enmity between the parties on account of old case. Informant has also applied to the Tahsildar for compensation stating that the reason for suicide is unknown. It is argued that deceased has not left suicidal note of the last instance. 5.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable in four weeks.
