This is an application seeking to quash First Information Report No.496 of 2024 registered with the Yashodhara Nagar Police Station, Nagpur City for the offence punishable under Sections 85, 115(2), 352 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The applicants are the husband and relatives of the husband of the informant. It is argued that since the date of marriage, the couple resided separately however to take revenge entire family has been implicated on vague allegations.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after six weeks. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
