This is an application seeking to quash the first information report bearing Crime No.217/2024 registered with Akot Police Station, District Akola for the offence punishable under Section 306 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is the contention of applicants that the deceased has borrowed money from several villagers Rgd.

Order 2609apl1396.24 and out of frustration, he has committed suicide. According to them, at the behest of villagers, they have been falsely implicated. The learned Counsel for applicants submitted that the contents of first information report does not disclose essential ingredients to constitute an offence of abetment. 4.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 18.11.2024. Learned A.P.P. waives notice for non-applicant no.1.

In the meanwhile though the prosecution may proceed further with their investigation, but, charge sheet shall not be filed without prior permission of this Court.
