This is an application seeking to quash criminal proceedings bearing R.C.C.No.3272/2023 arising out of First Information Report vide Crime No.336/2023 registered with Police Station, Ranapratap Nagar, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 376(2)(n), 377 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant lady aged 28 years has lodged a report stating various instances about the relationship. Precisely, she alleges that under false pretext of marriage, her consent was obtained for sexual relations, hence, the offence of repetitive rape.

Learned Counsel for the applicant would submit that it is a case of consensual relationship. Both had relationship from last 3 to 4 years and out of misunderstanding, the report has been lodged to pressurize the applicant.
