This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report bearing Crime No.588 of 2024 registered with the Awadhootwadi Police Station, District Yavatmal for the offence punishable under Sections 498 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

It is submitted that applicant nos. 4 to 8 are the relatives of the husband of the informant and they are residing separately. According to the applicant vague and general allegations have been made.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after six weeks for final disposal. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
