This is an application seeking to quash Chargesheet arising out of First Information Report No. 4 of 2023, registered with Police Station Mul, District Chandrapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 65(a,b,c,d,e,f,) 81, 83 and 103 of Maharashtra Prohibition Act and Section 328 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is the contention that the entire chargesheet does not disclose any allegations against the applicant. According to the learned Counsel for applicant, only because the applicant applied for pre-arrest bail in misconception, he has been falsely arraigned as an accused.

Issue notice for final disposal to the respondents, returnable on 28.11.2024.

Mrs. Kolhe, the learned APP waives service of notice for respondent/State.

In the meantime, though the prosecution may continue with investigation, charge shall not be framed against the applicant, till further orders.
