2) This is an application seeking to quash FIR in Crime No.0236/2024 dated 26/04/2024 registered with Police Station, Khamgaon City District Buldhana for the offence punishable under Sections 353 and 186 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and under Sections 131 and 132 of the Representation of People Act. At the instance of report lodged by non-applicant No.2 crime has been registered. 3) Learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that there was some altercation of words at the time of voting of parliamentary elections and on that occurrence, he has already filed a complaint to the District Collector. Enquiry was set up, in which the informant has given a statement that he was not interested to lodge report. According to the applicant however, at the behest of the police, subsequently report has been lodged to harass the applicant.
4) Issue notice to the respondents, returnable in six weeks.
