This is an application seeking to quash First Information Report arising out of Crime No. 722/2024, registered with Police Station, Bhandara, District Bhandara, for offence punishable under Sections 308(2), 75(1), 296,115(2) read with Section 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023. The applicants' learned Counsel would submit that registration of crime is outcome of political rivalry. The applicants' learned Counsel has placed on record NC report dated 17.72024 registered with Dadar Police Station pertaining to the same incident. It is brought to the notice that existing police report makes an exaggeration of occurrence and that too after five days of the incident.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 06.12.2024.
