In both applications the same relief of quashing of charge-sheet arising out of First Information Report No.924 of 2023 registered with the Bhandara Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code has been sought.

The applicant in Criminal Application No.1657/2024 is the husband of the informant whilst in another Criminal Application No.1643 of 2024 the applicants are the parents-in-law. It is submitted that out of matrimonial disagreement false report has been lodged. According to the applicants, the matrimonial dispute was settled and the parties were about to obtain

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable after four weeks for final disposal. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

The Trial Court shall not proceed further till next date.
