1.
This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring an appeal against acquittal. We have perused the judgment sought to be challenged in the proposed appeal. It appears that the victim and the respondent were in a relationship, though the victim appears to have been 16 years of age at the relevant time.
2.
The delay is stated to have occurred on account of the time spent in obtaining permission to prefer the appeal. 3.
In our considered view, there cannot be separate parameters for State agencies in not preferring an appeal within the prescribed time frame. We are not in agreement with the reasons assigned in the adn

4.
The interim application stands dismissed.
