The operative part of the impugned Judgment shows that, compensation was awarded to the victim. The offence involved is under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Therefore, the victim is a necessary party in this application.

After the amendment is carried out, issue notice to the added Respondents, returnable on 19.09.2024.

Learned counsel shall supply spare copies with the Registry for service on the added respondents. The Senior Inspector of Police of the concerned police station shall inform the added respondents regarding the pendency of this application and the next date of listing, and shall make a statement to that effect before the Court on the next occasion.

Stand over to 19.09.2024; at 2:30p.m.
