This is an Application for bail pending Appeal. On the earlier occasion, the Applicant had preferred I.A. No.2907/2022 in this Appeal. It was rejected by a reasoned order on 18.11.2022. After that, this second bail application is preferred on the ground of passage of time. 2.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the impugned judgment shows that the Applicant is in custody since 18.11.2018. He submitted that therefore this Application be considered on merits.

The office note shows that the record and proceedings along with the paper book is received. The Applicant is in custody for more than five years. Therefore, the Appeal itself can be disposed of. The Appeal was already expedited.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that in the companion Appeals arising out of the same judgment and order, the same Law Firm represents the Appellants in those cases. Therefore, those Appellants are also put to notice that their Appeals will also be decided finally on the next date.
