The revision applicants in all these Applications are convicted for offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The appeals preferred by the Applicants were dismissed by the Sessions Court.

It is submitted that the parties had filed consent terms before the Session Court during the pendency of the appeal. However, non-payment of the entire claim of the complainant the appeals were dismissed. The total claim of the complainant qua the cheques which are subject matter of the proceedings is Rs.59,09,354/-. The Applicants had paid an amount of Rs.51,50,000/- till date. The Applicants are willing to pay the balance amount in the event reasonable time has granted to them. 3.
Issue notice to Respondent No.1, returnable on 20th February, 2024.

In the meantime, the operation of impugned Orders passed by trial Court as well as Appellate Court stayed till the next date of hearing.
