The Applicant has sent this Application through jail. He has stated that he does not want to prosecute his Criminal Appeal, though in the Application the Appeal number is wrongly mentioned. 2.
Learned counsel for the Applicant was directed to communicate with the Applicant through video conference and verify whether the Applicant really wants to withdraw the Appeal. BGP.

Learned APP was also directed to take instructions from the Superintendent of jail verifying genuineness of the wish expressed by the Applicant to withdraw the Appeal. It was noted in the order dated 14th August, 2024.

Today, learned counsel for the Applicant makes a statement that he had a conversation with the Applicant through video conference and the Applicant really wants to withdraw this Appeal. Learned APP has also produced the report of the Deputy Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison repeating the Appellant's wish to withdraw this Appeal.

Considering this situation, the Criminal Appeal preferred by the Appellant is permitted to be withdrawn and the same is disposed of as withdrawn.

In view of the above, all the pending companion Applications are also disposed of.
