This is an Application for fixing the date for final hearing in Criminal Appeal No.551 of 2012. The Applicant was convicted in April, 2012 under Sections 7 and 13(d) r/w 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The trial is of the year 2010. The Appeal is pending since 2012. The Applicant as of today is 73 years of age. The Applicant is suffering from various ailments. He needs monetary benefits for his medical treatment.

Considering these submissions, the Application is allowed. 3.

The Appeal be added to the weekly final hearing board commencing from 5th August, 2024.
