This Court had heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1. 2.

Yesterday, this Court had put a specific query to the learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 as to the further period of time required for completing the investigation. This query was put in the backdrop that the charge-sheet is already filed, yet it is stated that further investigation is being carried out. The applicant has remained behind bars since 18th August 2023.

In the light of the query put by this Court, the learned counsel for respondent No.1 took time till today. 4.

The learned counsel for respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that a further time period of one month would be required for completing the investigation.
