The Applicant was the accused before the Additional Sessions Judge-2, Nashik, in Sessions Case No.176 of 2020. The learned Judge vide his Judgment and order dated 03.01.2024 convicted the applicant for commission of offence punishable U/s.307 of the I.P.C. and sentenced him to suffer R.I. for seven years and to pay a fine of Rs.10000/- and in default to suffer S.I. for three months.

15-ia-1659-24 paragraph-6 of this application and submitted that, after the applicant was convicted, he was taken into custody. His parents are from rural background. The applicant could not immediately engage an advocate who could file an appeal within time. Some time was lost in finding an advocate and preferring the appeal. Therefore, there is a delay of 32 days in filing the Appeal. 3.
Considering these submissions, the delay in filing the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further. The application is disposed of.
