DATED : 20th JUNE, 2024 P.C:- On 27/01/2020, Gulabrao Baburao Deokar, one of the accused, who was convicted in Special Case No.1 of 2014, approached this Court seeking suspension of his conviction and his application was allowed by staying the conviction. Another accused Dattu Devram Koli made a similar request before this Court, which was turned down on 9/12/2021. The Apex Court in SLP (CRL) No. 2353 of 2022, referring to the order of the Division Bench dated 27/01/2020, granted a similar relief by suspending his conviction. Mr. Bhangale appearing for the appellant has placed before us one more order passed by the Apex Court in case of Bhagatram Ravalmal Blani (Balani) on 2/04/2024, when the Apex Court recording that the appellant was similarly circumstanced with Ashish

2/2 18 IA 1724-24.doc other accused, who were granted benefit of suspension of conviction also received the relief.

It is the case of the appellant that, he is similarly circumstanced with all the three accused, whose conviction has been stayed and he deserve a similar treatment.
