This is an Application for listing the Applicant's Criminal Appeal No.893/2013 on the final hearing board. The Applicant was convicted by the learned Special Judge (ACB), Nashik in Special Case No.12/2011 vide his judgment and order dated 24.7.2013 under Sections 7, 13(1)(d), 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and she was sentenced to suffer RI for one year and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- and in default to suffer RI for two months. The said judgment and order was challenged by the Applicant in Criminal Appeal No.893/2013 before this Court. This case pertains to the trap conducted on 18.8.2010. The Appeal was admitted and she was released on bail. The Appeal is still pending.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant is suffering from major health issues. She is also taking treatment for cancer. She is in financial difficulty. She is a senior citizen. Therefore, it is necessary that her Appeal is heard expeditiously.

Considering these grounds, the Appeal be listed on the weekly final hearing board commencing from 21.10.2024. Learned counsel for the Applicant is at liberty to mention the matter for being taken up for final hearing if it does not reach.
