This is an application for condonation of delay of 204 days in filing the Appeal. The Applicant has filed the Appeal challenging the Judgment and order dated 21.07.2023 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Ratnagiri, in Special Case No.40 of 2021. The applicant was convicted for commission of offences punishable under Sections 363, 376, 506 and 417 of the I.P.C. and under sections 3(a) r/w. Sections 4 and 7 r/w. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant was originally a resident of Nashik and the Trial was conducted in Ratnagiri. He was convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Ratnagiri. Therefore, there was communication gap between the applicant and his family members. Therefore, there was delay in approaching an advocate. There was further delay caused in collecting the papers.

Considering these submissions and in the interest of justice, delay in filing the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.

The application is disposed of.
