This is an application for condonation of delay of 11 days in filing the Criminal Appeal preferred by the Applicant. The Appellant was the accused No.2 in Sessions Case No.48 of 2018 before the Additional Sessions Judge, Malegaon. Learned Judge vide his Judgment and Order dated 20/02/2024 convicted the Applicant and the original accused No.1. They were convicted u/s 392 of the IPC and were sentenced to suffer Digitally signed by MANUSHREE NESARIKAR Date:
2024.06.24 15:24:59 +0530 MANUSHREE NESARIKAR rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay a fine of Nesarikar

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that he was in a poor financial condition. He and his family could not arrange to engage a lawyer to represent the Applicant and to file an Appeal. Therefore, there is delay of 11 days. 3.
Considering these reasons and since the delay is only of 11 days, in the interest of justice, the delay is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.
