This is an application for condonation of delay of 25 days in filing the Appeal challenging the Judgment and Order dated 21/02/2024 passed by the Special Judge under POCSO Act, Dindoshi, Mumbai, in Special POCSO Case No.183 of 2019. 2.
The Applicant was convicted u/s 376(AB), 376 of the Indian Penal Code and 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 of the Protection of Digitally signed by MANUSHREE NESARIKAR Date:
2024.06.24 15:24:58 +0530 Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The major punishment MANUSHREE NESARIKAR Nesarikar

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant is financially poor. He could not engage a private advocate. Learned counsel appearing for him was appointed through Legal Aid Services of this Court. Some time was required to collect papers to prepare the Appeal and file it. Therefore, there is delay of 25 days in filing the Appeal. 4.
Considering these reasons and since the delay is only of 25 days, in the interest of justice, the delay in filing the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.
