The applicant was convicted under sections 6 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (hereinafter referred to as 'POCSO Act') and under sections 376(2) and 354 of the I.P.C. by the learned Special Judge under POCSO Act, Greater Bombay, vide the Judgment and order dated 22.11.2023 passed in Special Case No.1011 of 2020.
