A similar application earlier filed by the applicant seeking suspension of jail sentence and release on bail was rejected on merits vide order dated 17th April, 2024, passed in Interim Application No. 4580 of 2023 arising out of Criminal Appeal No. 1255 of 2022.

The instant Interim Application is, therefore, rejected. However, considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since last 11 years, we are inclined to grant out of turn hearing in the connected appeal. Registry to therefore, list the connected appeal for final hearing on 3rd September, 2025. 3.
