This is an application for condonation of delay of eight days in preferring the Appeal against the Judgment and order dated 03.05.2024 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Raigad-Alibag, in Sessions Case No.15 of 2021. The applicant and his co-accused Omprakash Chauhan were convicted for commission of offences punishable under sections 304(II) and 323 of the I.P.C. The major sentence imposed on the applicant was for 7 years of R.I.

17-ia-2928-24 though the applicant had engaged an advocate, some time was lost in getting proper vakilpatra and, therefore, there was a delay of 8 days in preferring the Appeal.

Considering these submissions and in the interest of justice, the delay in preferring the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.
