Interim Application No.1413 of 2020 is preferred for suspension of sentence, pending the Appeal of the Applicant. Interim Application No.3189 of 2024 is preferred through jail for expeditious hearing of the Appeal.

In Interim Application No.3189 of 2024, the Applicant has H. C. Shiv 1/2

3.ia1413.20.doc stated that he has instructed his earlier Advocate not to make an Application for bail but to press for deciding the Appeal itself finally. In view of that statement, Interim Application No.1413 of 2020 is disposed of as not pressed.

As far as the relief sought in Interim Application No.3189 of 2024 is concerned, the learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that he is in custody since 2017.

Considering this situation, the Appeal is directed to be listed on the weekly final hearing board commencing from 11/08/2025. Liberty is given to the learned Counsel for the Applicant to mention the matter if it is not taken up for hearing within a reasonable time. 5.

Interim Application No.3189 of 2024 is also disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
