This is an application for interim bail in connection with C.R. No.282 of 2022, registered at Vimantal Police Station, Pune, to enable the applicant, a single child, to attend the final rites of his mother, who died this morning. The learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submits that after attending the last rites in Dhule, the applicant will surrender himself to the Yerwada Central Prison on or before 5 October 2024. The learned APP confirms the death of the applicant's mother and submits that suitable conditions be imposed if the applicant is granted temporary bail.

In light of the above, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on interim bail for a limited duration to attend his mother's last rites. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) The applicant, Arvind Ravindra Birhade, shall be released on interim bail in CR No.282 of 2022, registered at Vimantal Police Station, Pune, upon executing a PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing a cash surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend Dhule Police Station twice in a week between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

(iv) The applicant, himself or through any other person, shall not tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses.

(v) The applicant shall provide his proposed residential address and cell number to the investigating officer within two days from his release on temporary bail.
