By this application, the applicant seeks extension of the temporary bail granted to the applicant by this Court vide order dated 18th December 2023 and subsequently extended vide order dated 5th April 2024, till the hearing and final disposal of his aforesaid criminal appeal.

Perused the application. It is not in dispute that the applicant was granted temporary bail on medical grounds by this Court vide order dated 18th December 2023, which temporary bail was extended further by six months vide order dated 5th April 2024. The applicant has annexed at Exhibit `D' at page 122 the latest report of the applicant given by Dr. Godbole's Heart Care Centre Pvt. Ltd. It appears that the applicant's heart is working 20% and there is a depressed LV systolic function. Considering the aforesaid, at this stage, we are inclined to extend the temporary bail of the applicant by a further period of eight weeks from the date when the order dated 5th April 2024 comes to an end i.e. from 23rd September 2024. On expiry of the said extended period, the applicant to surrender before the jail authority on 18th November 2024. Interim application is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
