By this Interim Application, the applicant seeks the following substantive reliefs;

REKHA PRAKASH PATIL Rekha Patil 1/3 REKHA PRAKASH PATIL Date: 2024.10.04 15:00:15 +0530

(a) a direction to the respondent No.3 to provide land for a dignified burial of the deceased's body;

(b) disciplinary action against the respondent No.3; and (c) to provide security to the applicant.

As far as prayer clause (a) is concerned, the same has become infructuous as the same was provided.

As far as prayer clause (b) is concerned i.e. disciplinary action against the respondent No.3; learned Counsel for the applicant does not press the said relief.

As far as prayer clause (c) is concerned i.e. to provide security to the applicant, learned Advocate General, on instructions, states that police have been deputed in the vicinity where the applicant is residing, so as to monitor the law and order situation and to ensure no untoward incident takes place.

At this stage, learned Counsel for the applicant states that the applicant has preferred an application to the concerned authority seeking police protection/security. If such an application is made, the concerned authority to decide the same as expeditiously, in Rekha Patil 2/3

accordance with law, on its own merits.

Application stands disposed of accordingly.
