Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant.

By an order dated 28th August, 2024, this Court directed the release of the applicant on bail on furnishing a P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- with one or more local sureties in the like amount.

The applicant has not been able to furnish local surety to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge. While enlarging the applicant on bail, this Court has considered the fact that the applicant has been in custody since 8th November, 2022. Therefore, the condition to furnish local surety deserves to be relaxed.

Hence, the following order:

: O R D E R :

(i) The applicant be released on bail on furnishing a P. R. Bond of Rs.30,000/- with one to more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Rest of the conditions in the order dated 28th August, 2024 remain unaltered.
