1) This is an Application for restoration of Criminal Writ Petition No.681 of 2024, which was dismissed for non-prosecution on 23rd July 2024.

2) Learned counsel for the Applicant/Petitioner submitted that due to his personal difficulty, he could neither remain present nor could make an alternate arrangement for the Petitioner when 1/2

3) Considering his submissions and in the interest of justice, Application is allowed and Criminal Writ Petition No. 681 of 2024 is restored to its original file. The said Writ Petition be listed for admission on 10th January 2025.

4) Application is disposed of.

5) Learned counsel for the Applicant/Petitioner further submitted that as of today, the charge-sheet is filed and, therefore, he seeks leave to amend. Leave to annex a copy of charge-sheet and corresponding amendment in the prayer clause and ground is granted. Amendment shall be carried out within four weeks from today.

6) List the Petition on 10th January 2025.
