This is an application for condonation of delay of 46 days in filing the Appeal against the judgment and order of acquittal dated 16.5.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in Sessions Case No.401/2019. 2.
In this application, the notices were issued to the Respondent Nos.1 to 4. The office noting shows that they were served.

Learned APP submitted that after the impugned Deshmane(PS)

43-IA-4749-24.odt order was passed, an application for certified copy was made on 1.6.2024. After that the matter was studied and a proposal was sent to the Law and Judiciary Department recommending filing of an Appeal. Some time was taken in that Department to forward the proposal and directions to the prosecutor's office in this Court. After that the memo was prepared and the Appeal was filed. Hence, there was a delay of 46 days in filing the Appeal.
