Pursuant to our order dated 18th November, 2024, the Head of the Department of Cardiology, Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai has submitted the Medical Report of the applicant. From the said report, it appears that the patient's ability to function is limited to sedentary work only which is the activity which requires less than 1.6 METS. In simple terms, it is stated

908-4754-2024-IA=.doc in the report that the patient is in persistent heart failure because of very low cardiac function and can only perform sedentary activities (like lying or sitting that require very low energy requirements) or at the most writing, desk work, walking (very slow) or activities inside home requiring low energy. The said Medical Report is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

Considering the aforesaid report submitted by the Department of Cardiology, Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai, time to surrender is extended by four months.

The copy of the said Medical Report be furnished to both learned APP and the learned Counsel for the petitioner forthwith.

Stand over to 28th March, 2025.
