In terms of the earlier orders passed by this Court, a report dated 18.12.2024 of the Committee of Doctors of Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals is received, which records the ailments suffered by the applicant. It is stated that the applicant will require regular treatment for the same and if need be, he shall be admitted in the hospital for appropriate treatment. A copy of the said report is already furnished to the advocate on record of the applicant.

It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that the treatment for the ailments mentioned in the said report is not available in Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals, and therefore, this Court may consider allowing the present interim application.

The applicant is permitted to file an additional affidavit in this interim application along with supporting documents to state on affidavit that Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals does not have sufficient facilities for the treatment of the ailments i.e. Hematemesis with malena, Recurrent 1/2
926_IA4841_24.doc hematuria, Dysphagia, Giddiness and Gastritis recorded in the report. The affidavit shall be filed within a week from today. A copy of the affidavit shall be served in advance to the learned prosecutor's office, which shall forward the same to the Superintendent of Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals.

The Superintendent of Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals shall file response affidavit on or before 03.01.2025.

List this application for further consideration on 07.01.2025 at the top of the Board.

Needless to say, the applicant shall be provided appropriate treatment by the jail authorities for the aforesaid ailments and he shall be admitted to the hospital, if required.
