By this application, the applicant is seeking directions be given to the respondent No.1 (Directorate of Enforcement, Mumbai) to hand over applicant's original passport for the limited purpose of renewal. 2.

It is contention of learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant has deposited his passport before respondent No.1 as per order passed by this Court. Now the said passport has been expired, hence it is necessary to renew it and requested to allow the application. 3.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1 strongly objected to allow the application.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that appropriate order be passed.

I have heard all learned counsel. The applicant has deposited the passport as per order passed by this Court. The applicant wants to renew it. In view of above, I pass following order.

ORDER

i.

Respondent No.1 - Directorate of Enforcement, Mumbai is directed to return the passport of the applicant for renewal purpose.

ii.

The Respondent No.3 is directed to consider the application of renewal of passport, if any, filed by the applicant as per procedure.

iii.

After renewing the passport, the applicant shall redeposit it with the respondent No.1 6.

Interim Application is disposed of.
